Disappointed in 2010 / track uphill grading

Hi Everyone

Some advice please. Having bought 2010, I'm back on 2006. Rather disapointed with 2010. My layout transfered across ok and graphics and smoothness of running are a definite improvement, but so much essential stuff missing i.e. trackside accessories, flora, landscape colours etc. I assume these just don't work on 2010, which after a lot of work makes it pointless to changeover.

On 2006, is there a way to proportionately grade track from height point A to a higher or lower height point B ?

Your help and comments much appreciated.

Have you made sure that you don't have TS2010 set to show favourites only? - this is the default setting and needs to be unchecked to show all. (I made the same mistake when I started in 2010.) There is an almost unmanageable amount of content which is hidden initially - you will find you need to choose your own favourites to limit the choice.

In the upper left corner (surveyor mode) you'll find the search filter icon.
When clicking on this a small filter search trough content window opens.
Initial 5 stars content is selected.
Remove the stars and all content will be available.

Another way is to start TS2010 - on the opening screen (Tutorials - Routes,etc.) click on Main Menu (top left). Go down and click on Options. Then click on Surveyor Settings. In the window that opens on the right, scroll down to Only display favourite content. Click on the box to its right to remove the tick.

If ticked, only favourites will be shown. You can choose your own favourites in Content Manager by assigning five stars to them. You will also probably want to remove the five stars from any content you are not interested in. As I said before, there are a lot of items marked with five stars as favourites by default.
