Disappearing and reappearing objects in surveyor

Did a search, didn't find anything. Currently working on the PB Express route and am using the JVC (Tr-4 winter )mountain tree (328583:16195) and when I put down a bunch of them to make a forest, and while in surveyor, they will keep appearing and disappearing in various locations. Is this surveyor or my video card having trouble? I have a pretty beefy video card and a good quad core cpu.

I have tried using just a few of these trees on the edges of a spline winter tree and it doesn't happen. Maybe these trees are high poly? If it is the object itself then I guess they would not be suitable for a quick drawing route eh?

Hi Chris,

It's not your video card - it's TS12 doing this, sadly. It's a bug that was introduced after SP1 and sort of remedied with HF4. This is one of things that I'm sure will be addressed with T ANE.

Unfortunately these are Hi poly which will not be helping the issue although they do have lod, from the description
1738 main mesh
938 lod mesh
Checked them and that is correct.
 
Thanks for the replies. I figured they were resource hogs but when it comes to seeing how cpu intensive objects are I am at a loss, no idea. Not sure what LOD mesh is.

It seems to work ok if I use them around the edges of a spline tree

I haven't been able to find any other winter trees like the triangle indicated ones nor winter splines like the arrow.

Checked them and that is correct.

I tried replacing those trees with Auran built in ones and things are even worse. I decided to try and see what their poly or LOD (?) mesh is but cannot figure it out although I looked in explorer and content editor. I have tried using 523:1606:1 and replaced those with 1:100698 and things are even worse. How exactly do I figure out the poly and mesh load, this is getting very frustrating as I am try to build a low load route.

I thought Auran stuff would be built for better frames. The Ultra treez have waving which even with no wind does not stop, so those will be cpu intensive (no?).
