Oh dear, I'm getting interested in derelicts again...

With these dilapidated old barns, I'm playing with the walls and roofs to make them sag, buckle and tilt to accentuate their condition. I've made 2 new ones so far. If the DLS ever recovers, I will try to upload them there.

Derelict barn 03. The remains of an open-sided barn with a crappy annex at the back. Roof and walls are in very bad nick.

Derelict barn 04. A dark, sinister looking place. First, here's how it looks in real life;

I wanna do a couple more since I've collected a good number of texture-worthy photos now. It's a really nice change to be working with simple boxes again instead of the complex shapes of vehicles!

Very nice

Thanks to you, our maps look more realistic.

Why should they be clean when real world is often untidy
 
more of these would look great near the railroad tracks,and don't forget the rusty vehicles too,anyway,nice ones!;)
 
There is still a lot of place for more rusty derelict stuff in Trainz and I have to confess that I like them very much. Great work!

These will enhance any route.

IMHO yours is the best and most varied selection - barn-none!

I was reading an article in Model Railroader a few issues back on making an HO model of a derelict barn and thought, "Gee...someone should make some of these for Trainz." They're perfect! Thanks, Deane!

Nicely done! I'd be afraid if I used a few of these on a layout there would be a flock of "pickers" moving from barn to barn...:eek:

@ everyone - bulk thanks for the psychological boost. I will get cracking on Derelict barn 05 today (instead of shopping for food at the supermarket - boring!)

I've just received an auto-message from Auran that the barns pictured above will be on the DLS within the next few hours. That means they must have fixed the DLS (again).
