Was working in route for the past few nights. I got out and went into MC, to my content, and deleted a bunch of saves. Now my route says it has, modified, missing dependencies. When i check for missing dependencies and pull them up they say build in and I checked some of them in the route and they are still there, so what I'm asking is how do I correct the errors?:confused:

Are any of the dependencies showing missing dependencies? It may be quite far down the tree so to say.

If you're quick though, you may be able to recover the items from the backups folder.

No they don't show any missing. My route shows up in red, and says modified, missing dependencies. when I list dependencies they all show in black and are built in, downloaded from DLS, pay ware, and whatever, but all show good.

Do you have any assets that are open for edit? List installed assets, sort by Status, and check each status category.

If the missing dependency is a session then that will be fixed at the next route save.

You might try rebuilding your database. Check it out under the Developer menu.

Rebuilding has cleaned everything up for me a few times...

Ok guys I've tried everything I can thank of, and all of your suggestion's and I still have no resolve. What can I try now? Thanks. If anyone has Skype and would like to look at this maybe you can see something I cant. Thanks.

In that case, I would suggest the following:

1. Note several of the built-in kuids that are in trouble;
2. Backup everything in your C:\Users\AppData\Local\N3V\TANE\... folder; the final folder name is a string of characters;
3. Uninstall and reinstall T:ANE; ensure that the built-in assets are okay;
4. Copy back in your packages you backed up.;
5. Rebuild the database and look for errors.

See if this fixes the problem. It seems like a major project, but it won't take that long (backing up is probably the most time consuming).

Another idea would be to create a CDP of your route and then, after reinstalling T:ANE, import just your route first to see what happens.

I know this seems to be a nuclear option, but I have been forced to do so a couple times, and have been happy with the results each time. I have ended up with a lot cleaner database, freed up from cumbersome orphaned assets downloaded with substandard DLS routes that I tried and immediately deleted.

Have you tried to open them in explorer and then revert to original. This sometimes just clears the data baseof any missing assets.

Ok I thank I found the problem. I need to know where my route is stored, and where the kuids are listed that are in the route. Its a kuid I made in Google maps and deleted, so its saying unknown and it wont let me delete it in CM. If I can find the list I can delete it out of there and hope that will fix it. Thanks.

You cant delete it by just removing it from the route config. If you are sure it is not installed, open the route for edit and delete missing content.
