I wonder if anyone has noticed something. I created a route using TranzDEM. The region was France. Once created and I entered into Surveyor - it showed nothing in the region which I assume is default (I noticed because no traffic). I then created a new route in Surveyor to merge thinking maybe it was just an oversight I did in TranzDEM. Saved it as France region. When I went to edit it in Surveyor I noticed it showed nothing in the region. I tried another one - same thing the region showing blank after I had saved it as the France region. Am I missing something? Anyone else have this issue?

Surveyor will default to the Default Region unless one is selected when creating a new route.
As for TransDEM, geophil is the one to ask.

That's the point. One was selected in TS12 and it defaulted to nothing. So again I ask the question.

By that, I am assuming that you selected the region when you created the route in TS12 (not in TransDEM).
You may find the TS12 forum is the best place for issues like this.

Not entirely sure what this means but irrespective of where the region was selected during creation you can change it in-game:
Surveyor > Main Menu > Edit Route > Geographical Region there should be a selectable list. Is it this list that is 'blank'?

Yes. When changed to the region, saved, it simply appears blank when you access it again. Try it.

I just tried it in TS12 Build 47059 and had no trouble changing the region in Surveyor and having that region 'stick'. Two suggestions:
If you have installed the new patch it might be related to that - or -
The issue lies in TransDem not the sim. A query in the TransDem thread in the Payware forum will confirm or deny that theory...

As noted above, I thought it might have been related to TranzDem so I did a simple route without TranzDem and put the region in. Saved it. Came back and the region was blank. I have applied the most recent patch now at build 48249.
