As I replied in your other thread on this subject, I'm quite certain that those freeware Dash 9's don't have the proper attachment point for a cab view. In other words, no cab view is possible.

If it's something you really want, I'd suggest purchasing one of the payware units from World of Trainz. Each one comes with a custom cab view, and they are of far better quality all around.

Yes...I do agree...They are the best cabs out there....BUT only downfall is for them....You can only use them for the loco it came with...You can put them in another unit but they wont work....The cab will be there but nothing will move or show up on the screens (AC4400)

Yes you can. say if you use a UP dash-9 you can put a cab in it. heres the Kuid...KUID2:200202:55015:1
after you downloaded it go to Trainz Object Explorer(that is if you have it installed) go to the downloaded locomotive click it go to Edit Config. txt near the top of the program. then type interior in the red part(the extreen left part) copy and paste the interior Kuid, save and you got an interior. if it doesn't work. keep trying and you'll get it.

He mentioned CCP in his original post, so he's using TRS2006 or later. He would not be using Trainz Object Explorer.

Also, while you've described the correct process for adding an interior, the fact is that it will not appear unless the engine in question has a cab attachment point. He can "keep trying" all he wants, but it will never work if the proper points aren't included on the mesh.

It's been a very long time since I used one of these units, and I'm basing this advice on my memory of them. If I'm wrong and they do indeed have attachment points, I hope someone will correct me.
