Darn Bridges Jumping Out in Front of Trains

A passing freight train struck a bridge along the Manayunk Canal Monday afternoon, uprooting a tree and ripping up utility lines.
No one was injured when a Norfolk-Suffolk Train traveling behind Main Street crushed a bridge, with its resulting damage destroying a wall between Cafe Volo and the Century 21 office.

Apart from the misnaming of the railroad, I'm surprised at this as this is a reasonably well-trafficked industrial spur.
