D&RGW RS3 Reskin Help

So, everybody I jsut downloaded the CCLE RS3 #012-TRS2010 (<kuid:439337:100167>) and I am wanting to turn it into a D&RGW RS3. I figured that the paint scheme can be swaped off of Ben Neals sd7. I tried just coping sections of it over the RS3 and it dose not look pretty. I was wondering, either A) some one with better skill try this or B) I get some major help. Like I said, the SD7 copying over the RS3 no good! This is what happens by renameing the sd7 thingy and putting it ove the RS3:

I think the issue you are having is that the SD7 parts aren't a correct fit for a RS3. So you may have to just have draw on the scheme yourself instead of using parts from other models. I hope this can help.

Yeah, I am not good drawing stuff on the computer. I understand how simple the RS3 texture map looks, yet, when I try to save time by copying the part of the art file from the sd7, it gets compressed and dose not look good. I will try to see what I can do to make it work.

I'd recommend getting a Boston & Maine or Maine Central RS3, and changing the maroon or green parts, respectively, to dark gray.

Ok I will try that. I have been working on the other one. Coming along just nice. Read somewhere that I need to delete the animation on the bogey and update the engine spec; I will try and work on finding more information on that too. I will post a pic of the finished product. Thanks for the advice Ben!

I need to find a new engine script for it. It dosenot work in Cab mode. The bogeys need some work too. They are rotating when the engine is not working. There is a thread that talks about these issues. I need to find that thread.....
