D&RG

I was wondering if there is any freeware for D&RG Steam Trains or Rollling Stock For Trainz 12? Also is there a Durango And Silverton route Available For Trainz 12?

Prowler901 has lots of great D&RGW locomotives, rolling stock, etc., on his website: http://www.steammachine.com/prowler/. However, these were made for TRS2004 and earlier, so they might have errors in TS12 that would keep them from functioning. Ben Neal (bdaneal) also has some D&RGW and D&RG locomotives on his website, http://www.steammachine.com/bdaneal/, but these are for TRS2004 and earlier also. There is also some D&RG, etc., stuff on the DLS, at least some of which is also for older versions of Trainz.

There is a blank D&S (?) terrain on the DLS. This is an empty map other than the ground being already shaped and there being Tiger (?) lines painted on the terrain to mark where tracks, roads, etc. would go. I am not sure about where you could find any D&RG/D&RGW, RGS, D&S, etc. routes for Trainz.

Regards.

Map for Cumbres & Toltec Railroad

I do not have any new information from what is given in the previous message.

However, I am interested in a map for either D&RGW from Antonito to Chama or the current Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. Does a map exist?

Thank you.

If you are looking for a route to run ng stuff on, I would recomend Klinger's Timber Ridge Line(s). The are well made and would do good if you want something to play with. Or you can make your own like I did......
I have to be careful saying this....I am working on a historical fiction of the D&RG(W). It has Alamosa-Durango(San Juan Branch), Farmington, Silverton, Pagosa Springs, RGS, Black Canyon and some standard and dual gauge track. There is also a bit of track running from Silverton(mimicking Otto Mears's various Siverton Lines). There is at least over a 100 miles of Ng track(including dual) and the town names are fictional or historicaly based. Some yards have been recreated to various states in time. I say that I need to becareful saying this because last time I said this, I had a computer crash:confused:. This rout has been over a year in production adn shall never be released at this point in time.

hi thad09 sounds like a fantastic route at one stage i was going to try and recreate the d&rg narrow gauge through where their mail trains used to run but life got in the way and i lost everything i had made when the pc and back up disks were stolen after a burglary i even had their timetables and the gooses all gone unfortunately i hope that eventually when you finish the route that you will upload it i would love to run it cheers ron

I am sorry to hear about your loss. The route is mainly personal and I am going to need to get permission for a number of conetnt if I choose to upload. THe route is being worked on in TRS2010 and there is some content from TRS2006 that has not been updated and probably wont work on other peoples computers except for mine. For now, don't expect anything new on the DLS that is from me.... in fact don't look because I have nothing on the DLS. lol:D
