Custom Track--a comment

Hello, all;

I have at last gathered all the needed information to create custom track. I want to thank everyone who contributed to my endeavor.

I want to especially thank "Shortline" (Linda), who provided me with the detailed info about creating custom track.

I have two computers. The desktop machine, XP, 3.0 gig duo-core Intel cpu with a Nvidia 512 graphics card, eight gigs of ram and three 500 gig SATA drives, provides the Trainz environment. On this machine I also have my art and graphics programs. This machine connects to the internet only when neccessary. Nothing else will go on it.

My other machine is an acer notebook computer that does everything else.

I make my own models and have been doing it for some time now. I use gmax, photoshop and paint-shop-pro. I just made my first track and have a huge circle on the 24 inch monitor on which I have a Santa Fe passenger train going round and round, sound, included.

I'm not a good enough modeler right now and have a long way to go before anything presentable appears on the download station.

I enjoy Trainz and use TRS 2006.

Again, my success has been aided by many members of the Trainz community and I want to once more thank all of you for your help.

Hi srude,

I'm happy to hear (read ) that you got your track to show up like intended!

I remember how much I struggled with my first track, just to get it out of gmax was hard (until I figured out that I needed to texture it first... - then it got way easier LOL).

Having fun with Trainz is the important part with creating stuff, and it sounds like you do just that, which is great!

When you feel for it, like Martin said, post a image or two.
