As I just posted in the pic I am not fond of them. But to the guys running them I bet they are glad for a change from the safety cabs on newer models.

I was inside the 4004, last week in Buffalo. Looks alot better with paint. They did a nice job on the inside of the cab.

Ho-hum, if CSX is always rebuilding its SD40s, why don't the railfans who think that Dash 9s are Trash 9s go there and listen to the notch 8 throttlesound of the SD40.

The loco begind the SD40-3 is another SD40-3.

Smash, I would say with the build of the long hood, it's a gp30, or gp35.

its most likely a road slug being that CSX has many of them in GP30 bodies. the only possibility of a GP30 in YN3.
