CSX in the Midwest and Trainz

butter

NorthWest Ohio Trainz2010
Just a little background, I'm building prototypical route with a CSX mainline. I have a few questions that I have been unable to find...

Mileposts, does CSX do each mile, one sign, or is there a half and 1/4th as well? Is there a sign in trainz that can be used that looks like the real one? and is renameable?

Citys, small towns and villages... Does CSX have a sign post with the name of the area they are entering? Is there something that can represent this?

For now, I think this is all.. Any help is appreciated.. thanks!

I'm on the old Clinchfield so some of this information may be relevant to that era and just carried over to CSX. I know that there are mileposts every mile, as well as at every station. So around Camp Two, NC, there is a milepost at Z194, a milepost at EDD Z194.5, and one at CP Z194.6. As you can see, there is also a prefix indicating the subdivision, in this case, Z for the Blue Ridge Sub. As for the prefix, that might be hard to find in game, but I have seen similar mileposts. I can look for you if needed. For the signs, I know that the depot at Spruce Pine tells you where you are, but other than that, I don't really know.

I would appreciate it if you would! I know around here they are simply looking like this

The edges being black lines around the sign, and the middle one being a black line separating the numbers.
I just know that sign, from the Toledo sub, but the main focus, the CSX willard and then the Garret, I font have a clue.
And I know NS has green signs like US highway ones, that are reflective with white lettering.. do these exist?

I recall seeing the green us highway sign near Penland, but it may have been for the road traffic there, I'll have to go check it out. Your description of the mileposts is spot on.
