Creating Sub-Categories For Assets??

An example is that I have picked up several types of cars/automobiles. They are under a variety of names which makes it difficult to find them since they are scattered throughout a very long asset list. Is there a way to assign a category to specific assets so that they are available as a group in the surveyor despite their different names?

There was some discussion, somewhere, regarding asset groups, but I can't remember where it was. The quickest way is to use keywords and add car or truck, or something like that to a keyword you can search on.

I agree it would be nice to group asset-types together rather than have one continuous list even with filters and searches this is annoying. It would be more useful if CM, or even Surveyor had the sub-groups like TRS2004 Surveyor had, or even better a tree-like groups with a "+" sign next to a category like there is in Windows Explorer or other file directory or tree structure.
