Creating a session?

Bit of a noob question here but I can't seem to figure it out on my own. What I'm trying to do is create a new session on my carbon city. I've gone into surveyer but I can't seem to change the switches or set the train to go that way and or stop there. I just want a route for myself to drive. It's not meant for ai to drive.

Please help me, I love driving trams or subways and carbon city is great for that. Any other maps people would recommend for tram or subway/metro routes.

I also tried downloading Chicago metro 3 and it has missing dependencies but how do I fix that?

When you go into surveyor you place the trains. Then you go into driver (click the little tiny button that looks like the top half of a human right next to the main pull down menu, and then you can drive trains and switch switches. Also, in content manager (I assume you figured out how to use that because you know the term "missing dependencies") right-click chicago metro 3, then click "view dependencies". Then scroll down and see what is marked available for download. Download it. Missing dependencies problem over. Hope this helps.
