Coupler Display

What exactly is the Coupler Display reading. Is it the tension of the first coupler to the engine(s), or is it an average over all the couplers in a consist.

I'm assuming the coupler on the last truck would not have as much tension as the first trucks coupler in a long manifest.

Thanks

It shows the coupler tension throughout, if thres any noticable change it changes colour and the numbers also change. The numbers refer to the vehicle in the consist.. so it does cover the whole train.

Just try it out with a long consist with vehicle physics also on :)

I have 3 leading engines, 1 in the middle and 2 pushing a 94 truck manifest over the tehachapi. The coupler strain display shows upto 99/99 on all engines i select, even the last one. Would this be correct?

I can see that the head engines that are pulling the couplers are possibly right, but the pushers are compressing the couplers, surely the display should show 0, or even a negative number for compression.

Not sure, I thought the numbers refered to the vehicles in the consist and the colour was the strain
