Copying a single baseboard from a layout

Is it possible to make a copy of a single baseboard from a layout in order to use it in a different layout.

I know it can be done by deleting all the other baseboards, just leaving the one which is required, and then merging it into the new layout.
However, if the layout from which the copy is alarge one, deleting all the unwanted baseboards would be a very laborious task!

Any advice would be appreciated (I'm using TRS2004 at the moment)

Cut, Copy & Paste of baseboards is not yet possible.

If I had to do it on my route, I would have to delete , one by one, over 10,000 baseboards.

And it were 2 DEM's made at two drastuicly different heights, they would not line up at all height wise, and since baseboards can not be rotated the N/S migh be E/W.

thats anoying i was thinking of asking the same thing, theres a line on my network that goes undersea to a nearby island was hoping to do the undersea route as a new layout, oh well may have to look into i portals!
