Copy downloaded TRS09 assets to TRS06?

I downloaded the PRR E diesel loco, A and B units, in TRS09. They work fine.

Are there cdp files for these two assets now buried in TRS09 that I can copy and install on a different computer on which I'm running TRS06?

Never mind. I just found the "Save to CDP..." function in CM.

Hi Art,

You could get them into TRS2006 but there's a small problem,
Most of the new TS09 stuff use mesh-asset and high res 2048x2048 textures
as TS09+ has texture compression when TRS06 doesn't and can give a big
drop on performance, there's also allot of tags that TRS06 won't know either.

Hi Aaron,

You're right. I've had that problem before. But I copied the two CDP files to a CD, imported them into TRS06, and they worked fine.

I do have the PEV(?) program to convert 06 meshes to be compatible with 09, but it looks like more programming than I'm up to. My programming skills disappeared when I gave away my Commodore 64 with its built-in BASIC.
