Copy Command From

I have just removed a driver which had a whole lot of the copy command from inserts.
The block remains.
This limit needs to be reconsidered.

Sadly Trainz has a lot of these hard-coded limits.
think in this case your problem lies in the 1k limit of the asynch search.
Have complained about it for many years, but they just ignore it,
The leadprogrammer does not play this game, so he does not know what we face when using it.

Workaround 7012: make a 2nd library for the commands and you can use many more
hth greetings GM

I've been lucky I suppose and never reached that magic value.
How many drivers and how many instances of Copy Command from are you using?

I can understand why a limit has been instituted because commands like that can cause timeouts when they load.

Just for kicks have you tried a DBR?

I am just watching one of my sessions which is where the issue commenced
The first Schedule Library has 166 Copy Commands in use
The second Schedule Library has one Copy Command in use
The Driver Schedule has 62 in use
I notice that there are some that I am able to remove but will have to work on that.
The session that I am constructing at present relates to the NER 1912-13 timetable for Harrogate movements from these pages 84,85,92 & 93

Wow, that's a lot of Copy Commands from and a lot of schedules. I don't think it's a timeout issue and more like a code-limit issue. That's 228 commands total and I think probably up to the maximum of 256 total entries. The remaining 28 entries are probably allocated to groups or something else.

Well I have removed a large number of combination commands and recovered my position.
Copy Command from is functioning again.
Thank you all for your assistance.

As I have progressed with my Sessions I have once again reached the limit with "Copy Command From".
I repeat, this was never present in pre TRS2022 games
This requires a change to allow more otherwise I will never be able to complete my Sessions to include all movements for one day in the NER Southern Division area for 1900 to 1910
