Can we have some more info on this cool locomotive please. (nearly used the word cute -censored - but not allowed at all in the trainz community I learned :eek: )
 
Awesome picture. It looks like it has rubber in the flanges to contact the rail.

I don't think so..... I think it is just a flat (maybe solid?) band style of tire. They used big balloon style tractor tires too. Here is a whole page of pictures of them.

Amalie in the Port of Tampa has something that is the modern equivalent- basically a large tractor with a knuckle coupler on each end. I can't find any pictures of it though. Shuttlemaster and Rail King make what is basically a tractor with hi-railer wheels on it, but the Tampa thing is just a plain tractor with couplers.
 
Pretty sure there is a second set of legs visible under that car, which I guess means it's being double-headed.....

One advantage that one has over the others is....it has a trunk!

with my luck should I download an elephant that one of our creators are definately now going to create there will be missing dependencies and one will be the trunk.
