Content search showing payware in route but can't find it

My route says several objects that are installed are payware if I go into content manager, select the route and select dependencies. I don't want any payware so I did an object search in surveyor (find object) using the asset name as shown in CM and nothing comes up. I then searched through the content tabs looking for the object but still nothing found. So how can I locate these objects on my route to see if they are actually installed without scanning each and every inch of the boards?

Whenever I do an asset search I ensure that PAYWARE=FALSE is selected so not sure where these came from.

This is where my suggestion of a content search in surveyor would come in handy: FIND OBJECT = PAYWARE and it takes you to each one when you click on it.

**Ok, using the KUID of one of the items I tried doing a bulk update replace, was going to replace GRAVEL ROAD with 7 11 store. When I tried it told me "one or more target items in the list do not match and will not be updated", does this mean the object cannot be found or I can't replace a road with a building?**

1. payware=false will NOT show payware on a search, To see the payware, Payware=true is what you seek.

2. A good idea

3. bulk replace can only work for like items.

IE: building for building
spline for spline
track for track...
replacing a spline with a building will not work at all.

Hi; You are mistaken in #1: When I am looking for content for my route to install I use payware=false, you took it as when I was trying to find the payware on the route already installed, which it doesn't allow you to search like that.

I used both bulk replace and find object and used the CM name for the assets and the kuid, it would not find anything. I then started going through my route and found two bridges that were payware although as stated, according to FIND OBJECT, they did not exist on the route. So the FIND OBJECT and BULK REPLACE (I tried using like items and it said they were not installed...um, yes they are) are rather useless in this case.

Really need that search tool!!!:'(

OK, I hope someone can really help now. I was able to get rid of everything except to payware called SeasonGrass-02/03. I can't find them so I did a bulk replace to snow and they don't show at all. I therefore copied a blank area of map and replaced every bit of grass I could find, but CM still shows the grass as installed. So what now?

FINALLY got rid of the grass only by coping a blank board and pasting over all the grass I had put down, I could never find the seasonal grass in the route even when I had tried replacing it with snow to make it stand out. A real problem this.
