why is there soooo MANY CONTENT that needs to be updated like theres about 900 content needs to be updated and downloaded, which is really slowing content manager down and creating no responding messages.

It's due to the DLS cleanup mostly, although there are ways to make the process easier - have a look for Content Updates in the search box.

As for the time it will take, as long as you have a First Class Ticket, it should not take that long.
