Content manager v2.0 No go ???

OK, enough already...I'm sure I'm overlooking some simple thing, but for the life of me, I have not yet been successful at download anything using CM v2.0.
I have re-upped my FCT, re-entered my username and password, closed my AV & Firewall all to no avail. CM v2.0 apparently "sees" the DLS as It does it's "searching" routine then shows the file size of the item. But when I click the "start" button...nothing. I realise that CM v2.0 does a lot of error checking, but I have waited for up to an hour and nothing. This happens on ANYTHING I try to DL at various times of the day over a period of several days.
BTW, if I click on the item in the search window it will highlight red and give the message "unknown content error". I've tried dozens of items, locos, rules, objects,etc.... nothing works. Is TS 2009 that picky?
ANY suggestions?

PS: I cannot DL anything from the FTP page either

Whether this will help or not, I can't download anything using either CMP or CM2 at the motel I stay at during the week. But I can download using FTP and saving it to a file. Might have something to do with your ISP?

Possibly...

I was able to download the beta1 & 2 versions of TS2009 and all other aspects of my internet seem normal. No virus or malware show up on scans, so I assume my PC is clean. I tried Pinging the Auran site and it made four trips from the US in 65ms, so, I must assume that it is communicating...

I downloaded Beta 1 at the motel. I think it might be CM2 and CMP being very picky about the connection. Both CM2 and CMP log onto Auran at startup, verifying my username, but exhibit the same symptoms as you have when trying to download anything. They both work great at home.
