Content Manager status options

I'm sure this will have been asked before but could someone tell me the difference between assets marked DS and those with ? in Content Manager and is there any difference for usage. I am using TS2009 if this is a factor.

DS and ? means the asset is not on your system but downloadable. The ? seems to pop up from time to time and not realy sure why. You can try to down load it and sometime it will work and sometimes it says it can not find the assets location.

Thanks for your info Shane. You say that the ? items should be vary rare. In my case I would say that for an average search about 40% of the items have this and about 60% DS. Any comments ?

That may be a addon pack issue - items in an addon pack will appear as unknown until the relevant serial is added to the Trainz Options box.
