Under the "Status" bar there is 7 columns of icons. The 4th one over is "updates available" ,where do I go to update? And the 7th is "faulty" or "missing dependencies" , how can I fix this problem? Thank You funnnyfarm

'Updates available' - DLS

'Faulty' - I have never fixed anything. Doubtless the asset(s) in question would run better if I did, but there is little if anything that out-and-out won't work.

'Missing Dependencies' you gotta find. First look in the DLS, then a forum search, then Google, only then ask in the forum.....

Updated assets are anything with a kuid2:xxxx:xxxxx:x type number that you haven't downloaded from the DLS yet. CMP will show a list of them if you run CMP and click the Out of Date tab.

Most usually faulty items can be fixed by manually going into the item using windows explorer. You should do a search of this forum as there are numerous threads explaining how to fix assets. There are some tutorials and websites that also explain that process in detail. As was stated before, I also am not sure if 'fixing' the asset would make any difference in availability or performance of that asset but, it would satisfy my class A personality...
