Content Manager not showing missing dependancies?

"Content Manager not showing missing dependencies problem sorted"

Thanks Chris, deneban and Shane for your input.
Ok replacing the assets.sql and assets.tdx in the UserData folder with working backup copies from a pristine TS12 SP1_HF3 install and then running a full EDR sorted it out, ...7

I should have mentioned the .sql earlier, it would have saved you some shoe leather. Apparently the sql holds the core of the asset relationships. I am glad your back up and running, and hope you were able to reconstruct any saved filters that were lost.

This worked for me!

HOWDY
I moved assets.sql and assets.tdx to desk top. (later deleted)
Ran CMv3.7 and it rebuilt the files...NO change until
I did a full EDR. 3/4s thru and its still running, my
CMv3.7 updated and showed Faulty, Missing and all Views.
It worked for me it will work for you.

Hi xcrossi,

Well it looks like the method you used is far simpler and works - well done.
I would have thought Chris (N3V) would have let this one out of the bag a bit earlier!!! I guess there is a reluctance to encourage those at the coalface to tweak their way out of problems should they lead to more issues I guess.

Got to love this sim (game) it really becomes immersive for the end user - tweaking, adjusting, replacing bits, addons etc etc etc! Why would anyone want to have a brand new untweakable DRM sim AKA version 2014/15/16?

Happy trainzing all - sometime it's like groundhog day everyday with trainz lol!

Hi xcrossi, Well it looks like the method you used is far simpler and works - well done.

The method I prescribed to you preserved your saved filters, Xcrossi's method does not do this. And it is simpler but not far simpler. Thats gratitude for ya.

Howdy..don't feel bad, I just used a bigger hammer.
Most of the time I don't have a clue....
Actuality, it was finding out that assets.sql and assets.tdx were the problem that gave me the clue..
It was already broke so what the he__ --- try it.

Dear deneban,
Treading softly here! I acknowledge your way is possibly one of (at least 2 methods to fix the issue), however your method does preserve the saved filters and I highly recommend this method - I was also acknowledging xcrossi method as an alternative method should be it somewhat simpler for those less enthusistic as ourselves or without the option of copying from a saved install etc etc.

Once again I am in your debt and most appreciative of your wisdom in sorting what for me was a frustrating issue.
