i dont know what it is but it seems as though most of the content i D/load has errors and cannot load in TS2010.....

Can anyone point me in the right direction to some basic station platforms in varied length to create some stations.... im finding it really hard to find anything on the DLS, and when i do, it just doesnt work for 2010...

try third party websites most likely they will have stations thats not to hard to find on websites and type in your trainz version.

I have imported a few hundred assets from 06 into 09. With a little time and patience spent correcting the errors, about 90% of them can be made to work in 09/10.

Sorry to give you the bad news, but "YOU" have to repair the content. That is part of the fun. You will find that the errors are repetitious for the most part and after "fixing" a few assets it becomes less of a chore. The needed tools are here. Search the forum for "PEV" or "PEV'S TOOLS".

Check out this website for a station building kit and instructions:

The required bits are on the DLS - look for Author = "Andi06".

There are loads of other platforms on the DLS and most work fine in TS2010. Maybe you need to do an extended database repair on your local installation?
