Content Errors etc.

I have downloaded content lately and receive messages like Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported. and Warning: Aliased meshes cannot currently be verified by Trainz. How do I go about changing whatever I have to to be able to use the content in Trainz 2012?

Samples are BR Class 90 90036 & BR Class 90 Freightliner Green.

Warnings are not errors and will function in TS12 normally. Meaning that you can just not worry about them.

Maybe true, but I have a nuber of rolling stock that no matter what I try, can't use. Start by KUID no: 326643:1301 A lovely STR made loco. I tried "fixing" dependencies using PEV, data base repairs, and still can't see it. If anybody knows what to do, please let me know, as I have at least 20 items I can't use.

It all depends on the errors/warnings.

If it has a red ! or ?, then it needs to be fixed. The TS2010 forum has a sticky for the common errors. (red ? means one of the dependencies is faulty).

If it's got a yellow ?, then it's missing dependencies, and View Dependencies should be used.

If it's a yellow !, the asset should not need adjusting unless it's a built-in item.

I'm with you hert. I have a dozen or so engines that come up pink or red in the content menu in surveyor... Oh well maybe someday!!!

I went to the STR site and downloaded the RENFE313 .rar file. Un zipped it and imported the .cdp into TS2012. Commits without errors. Placed it in Surveyor and drove in CAB mode in Driver. Works fine.

What errors did you have?
