Containers on flatcars

I am trying to make a consist of flatcar container carriers. After placing the containers on the flatcars, they do not stay on when the train begins to move. Thre must be a way to have the containers attach to their flats. I found a consist on the a loaded route where the author has a train with a consist that works fine. I copied the train into the consists area but the flatcars are empty when I place the consist into a different route. Help me please.

Are you using the load command?

Basically if its a visible load they should stay attached. In surveyor click the flat car then then ? on the right for properties. That will allow you to load a visible load. There are other ways to do this.

You dont place anything on the flatcar the loads are scripted into the asset. As said click the ? in the rolling stock tab and click on the flatcar. This opens the properties and allows you to choose your load, either full or empty.

I don't think the question is being read wright? I load cars in surveyor and when i move the cars in driver they don't unload (dispear)unless i drive into a IND that unloads them.Would your train happen to be at a IND that unloads the containers when you start to move the train. What IND and cars are you using? Do all cars unload or just one or two? If it's just one or two then your train must be over an IND when you start.
Hope i'm reading the question wright.

No, I think he did what I did at first. I placed the flats on a track and then moved containers over onto them. When I would move the train, the containers sat there floating in the air.

Go into Surveyor, click on rolling stock tab while editing the session. Place the car on the track and THEN click on the ? and you can select what you want to load.
