Constant buzzer.

Hi all, new to the game and have just been playing Lincoln Relief. About half way through I got a permanent buzzer sound and don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

I sometimes had a strange buzzing coming from the motherboard. I believe it was trying to alert me to the temperature going too high. If you have a way of monitoring the CPU temps, have a look at that.

Try using the Space or Ins/Insert key on the keyboard when it happens. This should acknowledge the warning and stop the buzzing.

As Kieran has pointed out it's the AWS and it is activated as you say when pass a Yellow signal. To acknowledge / cancel the buzzer press the insert key on the Keyboard or alternatively LMB the little button that appears near the "Sun' flower in your HUD.

Deleting the sound probably doesn't stop the mechanism from tripping the emergency brakes due to lack of response.

I will try using the insert key instead of the button next to the sunflower as that dosnt seem to work. Ty for all your advice and will let you know if it works lol.

I mean like on the p42's. Some have the buzzer. They don't trigger the brakes though. So I just delete the sound.

Pressing Insert doesn't aws buzzer for some reason, don't know what to do next as its very annoying being constant through the rest of the session.

That happened to me once. I saved my session with the "Save as" command from the Main Menu. I then closed that session and reopened it with the file name that I just saved. When the route started the buzz was gone. Remember this is a computer and some time things hang. I have found it best to "Save as" when the session is either "Paused" or your consist is stopped. If you don't bad things can happenen. I have had problems that causes the sesssion to derail when it restarts

Now I have a question.
Any hints on how to get to the first station (ECML Lincoln Relief: Trainz 2014) on time. I was able to complete the session once with 100 points, but I switched engines to the freight that caused the slow down and drove it to the siding, clearing the way for my passenger train. I didn't get credit for the session though.

I have noticed lately that most cabs seem to have a buzzer going off at a regular interval.
It is something that was not there before.
It seems to be across the board. I turn the sound down because it becomes very irritating.
it appears to reset itself.
Cheers,
Mike
