Confusion

my confusion is if we were to get both versions, would it be possible to import all that content from TEE to the WBE? That's what I've been trying to look for with no such luck thus far.

Hello

Engineers Edition (TEE) is an "expand-alone". If you have WBE installed, it will install on top so then you get all the WBE features plus the new EE features and content. If you don't have WBE then EE is a standalone version of Trainz that doesn't include the Surveyor module.

AHA light

Les,Ahsan,
Thank you , the light has come on. Now I understand. Yes I think they must post this on the site. Not all of us are computer boffins that understand the lingo. Our IT guy at work allways look at me as if I am from Mars if I don't know what he talks about.
Now I have motivation to buy both.
Yes Les, we also call them drivers in stead of engineers.

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Whether there are 100, 1000, 10000 or 100,000 assets in your TS2009 database, there is no performance penalty in game. THe key is to find the content you are looking for ans TS2009 has by far the best filter and search options for finding not just scenery items, but also textures, locos and all classes of assets.

The problem of not including some content is the other bane of Trainz life - the dreaded missing dependency. Sure it would be great if everyone could just download their ideal content set, but sadly that task is beyond many Trainz users. We must cater for the lowest common denominator which means a full install of previously released content up to TC1.

Hence my suggestion for optional install.

Thank you for your consideration

Talking to a wall might get you better results then talking to Tonny

Well, at least the wall will not respond in the negative and sarcastic way that you have been in your recent posts.

Oh, and by the way.... It's not TONNY...but Mr. Tony Hilliam.

Have fun,
