Confused about TANE

Hi everyone - I am confused (not unusual) I have pledged $100 and yesterday paid $119.80.
Question is have I just paid for the same thing twice ?

Ron:'(

The way I see it you haven't paid for the same thing twice but have bought two copies of the same thing. One in a box, presumably cardboard, and the other in a tin. Both have much the same except the tin version has some extra goodies.

I have a TS12 Collector's Edition in a tin box. One day it would probably make a half decent bikkie tin. You could probably fit about 24 Tim Tams in there. :D

Hi Paul Thanks for the reply - makes you wonder if the way the site words the ordering is trying to induce fools like me into paying twice !!

The pre-order site does state at the bottom regarding Kickstarter backers, so it's likely that you didn't read the page fully.

Ron, I am confused by your initial post, in which you wrote

I have pledged $100 and yesterday paid $119.80

Ordinarily, a pledge is not a payment, and based upon what you wrote, your payment of 119.80 is a fulfillment of your original pledge. However, if money was paid from your financial instrument earlier, and then you paid again yesterday, then you are entitled to two licenses for T:ANE.

you did see this before you ordered right?

[h=2]Message to our Kickstarter Supporters[/h]
In recognition for your contribution to make our TANE Kickstarter project a success, all Trainz Crew and above Reward Tiers will be upgraded to include the TANE Deluxe Edition including all 7 routes plus the Pre-order Bonus locos (the USRA Light Pacific and the Duchess in BR Express Blue livery). You will also be placed on the priority Advance Order list. These additional rewards will be automatically added to your existing Kickstarter rewards so you don't need to do anything. For those people on Guard and Track Crew Reward Tiers, you will be upgraded from TANE: Driver Edition to the Standard Edition.

Ron,

You could always email the help desk regarding your order (duplicate); at this time you haven't actually received anything for the money and you could throw yourself on the mercy of n3v...

I did something similar with a preorder for Elite Dangerous, it was all worked out for me.

Regards

Colin

Hi Colin

You have been reading my mind - I thought this could be worth a try whilst laying in bed this morning - at my age not much else to do at that time !!
Will keep you informed of any outcome.

Ron
