Con-way Freight Inc.Trailers for 2009

The following have been added to the DLS.
Con-way Freight Inc. that were used in our system. They are not perfect but they due represent the equipment past and present starting with PYX and ending with Con-way Freight.
Vans are static and trailers are for loading on flat cars.

Being for Florida, did you by chance drive for Watkins Motor Lines?

They were by far my favorite carrier when it came to east coast service. I used to ship very expensive printing equipment, lasers, and special film by them, and never had to put in a claim. This was very much unlike the other companies that were/are still out there.

When Watkins got absorbed by FedEx, that ended our relationship. All the good local drivers got laid-off, or were assigned new routes.

No....I ran it to a few of the Watkins guys from time to time. I worked briefly at R&L and 8 years at Benton Express.

In the real world, APL Logistics and Con-way Freight have recently announced they will collaborate on a new LCL service from China to the United States. The new service is described as a port to door guaranteed service from various base ports in China to eleven different zones in the United States. The service will allow customers to book LCL shipments on Eastbound APL vessels to the port of Los Angeles where the product will be turned over to Con-way for delivery to one of eleven zones.
