I am waiting for my copy of T2010EE and im really concerned that it will not work on my computer. I have a Windows 7 home premium 64-bit. but I am worried because I had a bad experience with MSTS on that computer with an add on from Maple leaf Tracks. That has made me worried for this game:( I uninstaled the game. (MSTS)

I'm certain that now you have uninstalled MSTS Trainz will install without any problem at all.

Reality Win 7 insulates software such as Trainz from the hardware. So as long as you have decent drivers for Win 7 it should work fine but do disable your anti-virus software first and update all drivers before installing.

It seems to run quite successfully on Win 7.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that MSTS is a very old game, and it was not designed to work with Windows 7. In fact, I'm pretty sure it came out well before Vista and XP as well! Trainz 2010 on the other hand is a brand new release. There is no connection between the two products.

From what I've read at some other forums, there are many who have gotten MSTS working with Windows 7. I've yet to try, but it must be possible. I do have TRS 2006 and 2004 running nicely on Windows 7, so I'm willing to bet you'll be just fine.
