I'm searching for "collapsible elevator/lift doors". Metal sliding diamond pattern. Widely used by both private and industry including GWR on many of their stations.
Memory recalls these installed as security gates at Solihull both ends of platform access tunnel. At Lapworth, Olton,
Moor street, across front access, also top of platform stairs leading to the Concourse at Snow Hill.
Plus I have no doubt, hundreds of stations across the GWR utilised these doors for security when stations were unmanned.
I have searched the DLS for Elevator, Lift, Asensor, gate, doors, collapsible doors, and any variation of all those, without success.
Does anyone know of such an asset, or is there a kindly creator of railway artifacts ready to have a go at making such an item?
