Cold Creek Logistics Issues

Greetings,

I have just purchased the Cold Creek Logistics module and installed it. I also downloaded and installed the route, additional content and the pofig trees. I am getting the red bug error when I open the route. Also there are no sessions included. I also noticed that there are sections on the route where there is just a grid - no textures etc. Content Manager is not showing any missing dependancies or faulty assets. I have run the Quick Database Repair and the Extended Database Repair - no help there. I have re-installed all of the CDP's for this route - no help there either.

Any suggestions on how to correct these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

One other question regarding the issues I am having with the Cold Creek Logistics module - Is there a certain order in which the route, additional content and the pofig trees and module need to be installed in?

Also when I installed them, some of the items were built-in content so I did not overwrite them. Should they have been?

If so, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

No built ins should be overwritten and there is no order in which you have to install any of it.

However, there are DLS assets you may need as well from the Download Station which could be why you see things as they are, which would also be the cause of the red bug too. I'd make sure you aren't missing any dependencies for the route. You can do that by right clicking on the route and selecting View Dependencies. I know you are saying its not showing faulty or missings but if its not showing ground textures and the like that typically does in fact point to missing dependencies.

To grab any DLS items for the route you should be able to right click on the route and select Download and it should begin downloading DLS assets as long at the DLS is up and working. We cant control that so that's the unfortunate part of it. It may be that you aren't showing any missings, because those that are " missing" are download station items

There are no sessions that come with this at this time either.

I made my own sessions, have no missing textures besides the pofig trees.
Could not get them to show up, so I did "delete missing items" to get them out of the route and put down my own trees.
No red bugs.
Cold Creek Logistics building did not load or unload, I fixed that by placing a piece of industry track.

All well now.

As they said: It's only for trainz 12 but it's running fine in T:ANE after a few adjustments.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that there has to be some missing textures or commodities. In Content Manager, when I right click on the route, view dependancies is grayed out. Also, when I right click on the route and select Download, it goes into the list in the upper left corner and just stays idle.

If I could find a good screen shot of what the overall route looks like, maybe I can fill in the missing textures with something similar.

I'd ask N3V support if you've done a full EDR end to end and you cant view dependencies. A route always has dependencies therefore you should ALWAYS be able to view it, period. That's a big problem right there. I might suggest patching to the latest build if you aren't already of things and then do a full end to end Extended DB repair. That cleared it up for me when I had this problem with TS12 a year or so ago.

Id say its probably more than textures but without being able to check the dependencies to see, its a crap shoot unfortunately.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I have done a full EDR and am at the latest build. I used to be able to view dependencies but at some point, that went away. I will check with N3V support.

This is the red bug error that I am getting on the Cold Creek module

Thread Exception: ER_Exception, line 1210, file baseindustry.gs

Stack dump:

< kuid2:45324:400001:2>

function $void@BaseIndustry::SetQueueInitialCount(ProductQu eue,Asset,int), line -1
function $void@IndustryProductInfoQueues::ResetAssetToIniti alAmount(), line 139
function $void@IndustryProductInfoQueues::SetInitialAmount( int), line 119
function $void@IndustryProductInfoCollection::SetProperties (Soup,BaseIndustry), line 717
function $void@BaseIndustry::SetProperties(Soup), line 1733
function $void@MultipleIndustryNew::SetProperties(Soup), line 34

So it looks like I am missing a commodity called Soup. I have checked all of the industries and could not find one that uses a commodity called Soup. I also looked on the DLS and could not find one.

I have also un-installed, re-downloaded the module and the associated CDP files and re-installed. During the re-install, I clicked on the Details button to see what was being installed and there were no sessions.

I am really looking forward to using this module but first need to get it fixed.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Cold Creek Logistics building did not load or unload, I fixed that by placing a piece of industry track.

You have to uncouple and leave cars at the building in order to load or unload them as it was not designed to load an active train. just drop cars there and in about a minute they will start to load or unload.

Ah ok, so that's the trick.

Thanks for letting me know.
Maybe I'll put back the original building.
The building works fine with the industry track too.

I even made the 4 Tropicana Reefers do the same like the other reevers.
Open the door on ONE side (not both doors at the same time) and with the loading sounds and longer unload or load time.
I liked that very much. Only the reefer ramp does not work because the missing attachment points.
But that's no problem.

JR content is great stuff to play with!

So it looks like I am missing a commodity called Soup. I have checked all of the industries and could not find one that uses a commodity called Soup. I also looked on the DLS and could not find one.

No Soup is a collection of information in the programming language. The error might mean you have a bad commodity product installed. Sometimes these can be hard to find. Search the forums for better advice on finding those. There is a thread somewhere with a bunch of bad ones listed.

I checked all of the industries on Cold Creek. Noted that for two of them, the JR Multi Industry is there but no commodities are associated with it. They are McLane Distributors and Nuset Industries. What should these be set up for? I am familiar with setting up the Multi Industries so I just need to know what to put in. Note that all of the other commodities on the route are fine as I use them on other routes.

Thanks in advance.

Fred

Nuset Industries uses "Engine Oil"
Move the building away to get the JR Multi Industry free for use with the question mark.

McLane Distibution:
there is no product added, chose a product yourself from the product list.
