Hi David,
Jointed Rail has some awesome 40 foot boxcars and other freight cars for that period. They have all the scripts in them to make them squeak, rattle, and roll.

They can be... but I won't go there. In the past we've all ridden in cattle cars.
But seriously, I never thought of using the engine with passenger service. Perhaps cars made by Ben Dorsey, McGuirel's Pullman cars, or even those available for the Blue Comet from N3C. They are all period cars' which I think would be suitable for the engine.

I think he means ones like Norfolk Southern used on the excursions with the 765They can be... but I won't go there. In the past we've all ridden in cattle cars.

Yea, this is what I mean, Although I do see where a boxcar can be a passenger coach for the Hobo!!! :hehe:

Well then... That's easier then you think.
Check the DLS for Ben Dorsey's TOTC series passenger cars. You might have to fix the thumbnail thing if there is an issue with them, but other than that they should suit your needs. These are created with the capability of you 'customizing' the coach name, railroad name, and coach number by editing the config.txt files for the coaches in the series. There are older-style heavyweights and Harriman style cars in his available selection.
As I said before too that McGuirel updated and created some very nice Pullman cars which I think are suitable as well.

Thanks, and I do have the 40ft boxcars from JR. They are awesome with the Nickel Plate Add-on. I think I own every piece of JR freeware and Payware. LOL!! I will look those coaches up now. Thanks
