CMP issue

I have had trainz 2006 installed on my computer since July, 2009 And have had no problems until the beginning of this week I purchased a 90 first class ticket in November 09. I am running windows vista I don't know if this is a trainz issue or not I've tried turning off my firewall to see if maybe this was a problem but still no luck I did install a new anti virus program in December 09 but all trainz items were working fine I can still play trainz but cannot start the CMP at all I can go to DLS put things in download cart but click to download and nothing, same when I go to trainz start menu and click on CMP and it won't start. Thanks. If you any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated also if more info is needed please let me know. Tim and son
 
I have noticed the CM seems very slow. I just renewed my FCT and downloads are running about 3 to 5 KBps, they used to be much higher.

Very frustrating you purchase something and can't even use it I hope both of our issues get resolved Tim

It sounds like a possible privilege or registry issue - you need to check that Trainz is running as administrator (including CMP) - if not, you may need to reinstall it. (Might be worth loading Task Manager just after you click the Manage Content option, and check whether Launcher,exe and contentmanager.exe are running at the same time - if so, ending launcher.exe may allow CMP to load (it may be that assets.tdx is missing or corrupt)

Did you activate your FCT on your auran profile? If so, from what I've read on other forum posts, it takes 24 hours to activate. If it is still not working correctly after doing both things, you may need to contact the Auran Helpdesk.

If this advice does not work correctly for either or both of you, please let me know.
