Hello everyone, I'm truly a newbie. I don't know anything about how to use this game other than Driver. I am trying to import a session from the internet onto my desktop and then import it to cmp. The problem is that it doesn't show up in driver and now when I select launch trainz or driver, it won't go there it just goes dead. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it. Thanks to all of you helpers out there for us knownothings.:hehe:

it should go straight to CMP. Is it a CDP your downloading, if so open it, it will then open CMP which will show it as there and maybe open for edit. If so R/click and select commit. Until you commit any item it will not show at all.

A session requres a route to run in. Did you download a session only? If so it won't show. If you downloaded a route then open CMP, find the route and right click it and check it for missing dependencies and check it for errors and warnings to see if something is wrong. If so, you'll have to fix these before it will appear in Driver.

I'm having a similar problem with the Disneyland monorail pack that was included with TCC,it's listed in the "extras" folder as a content dispatcher file so how do you open it?

You need to start Content. When the CM opens click on File, import CDPs..., then find the file you down loaded and click on that, The CM will open the fiel and load the content into Trainz. Make sure you check open for edit tap and commit anything there. Carl

So this may also help in getting the Amtrak Genesis loco into the game as well? I still have that file on my hard drive even though I had to uninstall & reinstall the entire game a couple weeks ago due to a corrupted asset file.
