CM3.7 full screen

NSWGR_46Class

Just call my Captain Rude
Ok this one has been bugging me for awhile but how do I get CM to open up and to take up the full screen not half windowed as it does now.

NWGR,

Depends how you mean half screened not full?

do you mean to make the CM window as a whole take up all screen or do you mean to make it all fit across the screen so you have all info in all columns you use showing not part followed by a row of .............?

one is a windows settings problem easy to fix and other is the fact that CM always as far as i know opens like that and you have to adjust it to fit the screen

cheers

ok thats easy just open the CM up and then if you have windows 7 or 8 drag the top of the CM window to the top of the screen and it will go full screen and open that way in future.

If you have earlier version of windows then simply go to top bottom and each side to stretch the window to fit the screen whhen the righht place on window border you will get a double headed arrow this method can also be used in windows 7 8 and 8.1

Or you can click that where the arrow is pointing

LMBO thats one way to put it especially when you purposefully shut it down every few hours when doing big downloads so you dont scramble TADD

I have the same problem , altough not a problem but annoying.

Altough annoying , not really .....................go...da.........^%#^@*&^%(*&

I like it small and compact though.... I can watch a video while doing stuff in CMP such as writing e-specs...

Cheers.

Instead of running CM from the Trainz start menu you can run CM directly from a Windows Shortcut to ...\TS12\bin\ContentManager.exe.

Once you have the Shortcut set up, right click on it, select "Properties" and on the "Shortcut" tab set the "Run" drop-down to "Maximised".

Clicking on the shortcut will then open CM full screen - you can launch Trainz from the "File" menu in CM and when you exit Trainz you will be returned to CM.

Well, this is how CM v3.3 (TS2010 build 49933) looked to me when I opened it, and I got sick of it appearing like this:

Yes, that's all I got before I maximised it.

So I tried the trick above of the direct desktop shortcuts and it works just fine. Thanks, itareus!

This works... For those that want to try it. I've done it all along and never thought of mentioning it myself. :)
