Its been Desided that I'm no longer going to be relessing any more free were due to a scurten post in wich I'm not nameing names. Thank you for screwing it up for the rest.

I'm also stopping Dragons Pass HP3 it wont be relessed and any DPR stuff. all skins are forbben of my stuff out with wrighten permission.

I'm tired of being nice & kindy with my works olny to be juged by my poor grammer & spelling inless these attacks compley stop I'lll restart my freewere works.

Not sure what age range you are following the thread content but I would advise to try and not be too thin skinned as what you are oddly alleging is not standard practice here. Indeed such people are such a miniscule percentage to be of no importance.

Yes but i'm the olny one who has been attacked over and over wend there 100s of orthers who's spelling is worse then mine. so why bother do stuff for some one only to get kicked in the nurds for it. dose that sound fair to you? would you feel the same if it were you? thing is nothing gets done about it and I'm very tired of it. my kindness has wore thin and yas I do nice works and My olny flaws is my spelling and grammer so why shode I be juged for bad spelling but get kindness about my orther skills building, its like giveing a man a horse and he turns a rount and slaps you and rides a way.

Dragonharh... I don't know anything about you or what you've been doing. From what I've read, you're an asset contributor. Along with that goes "customer service".

Your spelling and grammar may not be up to "other peoples" expectations... but I understand you fine and I'm sure others do to.

I'm assuming you can control what you release... So, I suggest... instead of punishing everyone by not releasing your projects... Don't release to those "customers" who don't appreciate your time and efforts.

Those people who bash on your spelling don't have to be customers.

I'm with Blake on this, Dragonharth. It's the quality of the work that matters, and it does seem a shame to deprive evrybody who appreciates what you do because of the unkindness of a few who probably wouldn't have a clue about how to make the assets you do.

Just my 2 pence. (English, we don't have cents!). I'm sure I'm one of many who hope you can see your way to changing your mnid.

Anyway, whatever your decision, all the best.

I'm just a bit angry. Why are so many people 'Closing Shop' or leaving or just simply not posting alot. First was 817Taylor, whom I think now is back. Then it's Kris94, who is going to be in the military I assume. Third its DragonHeart, which I really liked your fictional content that you made. Just look at me, I can't make a box in any modelling program except Sketch Up. I am not a good reskinner but at least I'd say I'm average. I always seem to work on a certain spot so most of my routes never get released or 50% done. You guys have modelling skill and stuff like that Dragonheart, 817Taylor, and Kris94. You guys could also be good in a group. A Model Creator/Reskinner/Routemaker/Asset Fixer (Dragonheart), Reskinner/Routemaker/Asset Fixer(s) (817Taylor & Kris94). Just my suggestion, all summed up in one paragraph oddly. :hehe:

I believe that most people are leaving because they are getting older and or losing enthusiasm. But dragonheart, I don't think he will ever lose his enthusiasm for trains. He's an incredible creator but a younger generation is overtaking the older, better creators. Because of their lack of skills, they haven't tried to make new assets. And the younger generation these days are a lot more arrogant and immature. Dragonheart is the only person I know and I have seen creations that have grown in popularity over the years and it would be a shame to see him leave now. And im saying this as his friend although I have known him for only a month at the most. But I can still tell that he had the best of intentions and he let those punks get the best of him and drag him down, shame on them. We all hope he will someday return to creating assets.

I think you mean a younger generation is getting more numerous and therefore some of these like to try their hands at content creating. With this you would be right and some of these young ones still have a lot to learn. As we older ones had to learn too, to get where we are. Having said that, the OP still has to develop a thicker skin and not let comments/abuse like he gets to get to him. If the abuse is per email, blocking is one option, if here in the forum, we have an ignore list here, to place just such people on it. If these get too personal, a message to a Moderator might help etc.

As you are the one getting better and better with content creating (as time goes on), you can then say "look here what I can do now....." or such. Don't worry about your spelling, you could have a reason like others might have, like dyslexia, missed education or such. This is not a crime but unfortunately, it is a fact of life that mean people take advantage of it and abuse them. We can understand what it is you are saying. Just persevere and let your creations speak for themselves, this will far outweigh the negativity you might encounter now, perceived or not. If you give up now, you only let these others win and I do not think you want this or you would not have posted here.

Im an ex-teacher and believe me Ive seen far worse than your spelling and grammar. To be honest Im more than capable of making silly errors which I should know better than make. I taught children with special needs for a few years - now some of those people really do struggle, but they never give up. So I would say to you - do what you enjoy doing - your spelling and grammar are not as important as your enjoyment of what you do. So long as the majority of us can understand you - and I believe the consensus is we can - then ignore the few who want to make things difficult - not just for you but just because they are not happy with what they do. After all if they were happy in what they do - would they have time to criticise you?

Hi Dragonharh, I got to agree with Ed, don't let these guys get you down, There's poeple I have to deal with every day that think they know everything, and there perfect in every way. They call me every name in the book,(also some new ones I never herd before) but I just ignore

The best way to fight fire is not with fire, but to take away the fuel - which in your case would be to ignore the few who are sour and gripey, they are like that for reasons.
I do not know who they are and I don't need to know either, because I would just be loading my shoulders with unnescessary burden..which is what you should not do too.
Don't post in anger because it overrules good sense - sort out what is constructive critism and use it to improve the cool stuff you are doing already, and many thanks for that too.

As others have said; Hang in there. No matter who we are, we all cop our fair share of criticism just as we dish out an equal amount ourselves and don't always realize it.

Someone infamous quoted to me once "What doesn't kill us, only stains our underwear!" I ran with the same humorous quote in here and elsewhere to get a certain point across.

Another quote heard was "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" which also has a variety of definitions. Wiki explains; Some believe it was Sun-tzu Chinese general & military strategist who stated this. This quote actually came from "Michael Corleone" in The Godfather Part II. It was Sun-tzu who said "Know your enemy and know yourself and you will always be victorious".

Supposedly it means that you will always want to keep your friends close to you because they are people you can trust and rely on.
The second part of this means that your enemies are always going to be out there seeking to devour you so you want to keep an extremely close eye on them in order to make sure that they are not going to hurt you.

Quotes as such as these can help bolster up ones courage and determination to advance towards a brighter tomorrow. May they help you in some way too.

Bearcat you have been given nothing but praise for the amount of Content you have released of late if it was faulty then sumone said so and you had post after post explaining the fix's or what you were doing about it so what more do you want. Why would anybody want to send you in particular a death threat LMAO for the Aussie content you have released ?. Me think's you are speaking with forked tongue.
