clickity clack

Do you know the KUID that makes up the default junction sound when passing through junctions?

The junction sound is referenced by the same KUID. There's a table that calls up the various sounds. look through the sounds in the asset's folder. You'll notice the sound for the junction and the switch lever as well.

I wouldn't mind the click-clack so bad, as it is what I grew up with. What I don't like about it, is it is just wrong. There are two wheels at the end of each car, with the length of the car in between. Also, with the length of the coupler, there is a shorter gap between cars. So there should be a click-clack for the front wheels, a gap, then a click-clack for the rear wheels, then a very short gap for the coupler, and then start all over again. Having it sound as steady as a clock just doesn't cut it... And thanks Tony for the tip. Is that for the click-clack, for the junction sound, or both?

It's only made for passenger cars with 2 axle bogies.
Everything else goes out of sync.
Two axle cars, freight cars, long cars, short cars, 3 axle bogies, locomotives and steam locos with a lot of axles.
They ALL are out of sync.

Go drive a Big Boy or Challenger, it's just stupid to hear only clickityclack.

I personally think they need to change it to make it more realistic. I think everyone can agree that, that is probably the best solution. If they added something that sees how many wheels a car or loco has and adjust the sounds to compensate, that would be fantastic.

the best all round train sounds (passing trains / freight trains) I have heard has been from Train Simulator 2018, wish T ANE can incorporate those type of sounds.

Try TANE Trk Concrete <Kuid2:523:1116:5>

It is default built in track, but has no click clack sounds.

Just a note the other 2 TANE Trk Jarra and Oak still have the click clack sounds.

Hope this helps
