Christmas mail

I have just installed trainz 2012, the session I am playing is "Christmas Mail" using a class 47 diesel. When I get to Sleaford I am supposed to run round my train to reverse direction, every time I do this I get penalised 30 points. Anyone tell me how I am supposed to run round the train without being penalised?
