Changing the in-game time during a drive session

Hello folks.

Quick question. - Is it possible in Trainz 12 to change the time whilst playing a session?

The background to this query is that I have a layout which comprises a station with an intensive number of trains scheduled to emit from portals at specified times of the day; the idea being to play one day's complete traffic at this station.

However, I don't want to run this real-time because this would be impractable. I would like therefore to be able either to be able to advance the clock on demand whilst playing a session or alternatively, speed up the clock.

On a related query. - Is it possible to get a portal to emit a consist on demand (from the consist list) whilst playing a session?

Cheers!

Take a look into this rule:
Time and Rate (kuid:-3:10113). It is built-in in TS12.
You can set the time with that plus I think the speed of the clock (but I didn't test that myself).

Quick answer, yes. Use the quick drive rule. But this will not alter the portals , they will still emit at the set time spacing.
The Emit train rule will do just what you want, from the consist list or any asset (loco/wagon/) you have installed.

Many thanks for the replies chaps.

Oknotsen, I took a look at the Time and Rate rule but I think that you can only use this to set the clock and/or the time rate before starting a session. You can't use it on the fly whilst playing a session?

fran1, is the Emit Train rule you refer to the same as "The Emit Train Now" rule?

sniper297, I'll investigate the debug line, although I'd rather be able to advance the clock if possible.

Cheers, one and all :-)
