CCP Help

So It might have been asked before, I tried searching and could not find any thing. But then again I was lazy and only tried a few things.

But here is my problem: I can load up every thing and play. The content manager works. But the Content Creator wont load up at all. I am running TRS06 and have had it work in the pass. It worked till I needed to uninstall TRS06. After reinstalling TRS06 it wont load and CMP freezes up.

most users here use a text editor to create their config files. might give it a try....but make sure you got your CCG nice and handy.

CCP only works under OpenGL and needs that .net thing from MS.

It was working fine till I had uninstalled TRS06 to make some room on my hard drive. I then got an external hard drive where I installed most every thing but put TRS06 on my internal HD.

I do have it running is open Gl and I believe I have the .net stuff installed.


I have been doing a tutorial on making content with gmax and the tutorial said to use the CCP. But I can give using a text editor to hand code every thing, ill just need to find a tutorial or some thing on that.

But if any one else might know how to solve my small issue I would aprecate (SP?) it, and thanks for the tips.

Hi,

After opening the asset in CCP have you then tried closing CMP.

This happens to quite a few people, but seems to be random.

At one time I always had to close CMP for CCP to open, but now for some reason every thing works fine(and I have not changed anything on my computer)

Yes I have done that and I don't have any problems closing CMP after using CCP.

Sorry probably did,nt explain it properly. What i meant was that in some cases CCP will not open unless CMP is closed down.

I might check what process you have running. sometimes I find that CCP doesn't close all teh way and is running in the background. From your taskmanager you can check this and close CCP.

Thats what I do. It says CCP is running but it never shows up. I have not tried closing CMP after tiring to open CCP, but I will try in a little bit.

When I got back and tried it, the same error message came up. So, assuming that it only runs SPECIFICALLY on v1.1, is there a way to get it to work on Vista-compatible .NET framework?

MS NET also comes on your Trainz CD or download it from microsoft's website and install ms net 1.1.
