This thread is aimed towards locating another user whom, if memory serves, is working on a Catskill Mountain RR/Ulser & Delaware RR route. I recall seeing a post from this person over a year ago, and after searching threads I thought the post was in, I have come out empty handed.
The reason I'm looking for this user is because I too am considering creating a DEM version of this route, and am looking for a partner familiar with the area and the rail road itself. Hopefully to combine our knowledge and expertise to create a full representation of the line in Trainz.
I grew up along the ROW and my grandfather worked on this line under NYC and PC ownership. I also have recently purchased several books with track diagrams of the entire line from Kingston Point to Oneonta NY. For a very brief time before I moved away I volunteered with the CMRR in it's restoration through Kingston.
I haven't decided on an era for the route, but I'm leaning toward NYC ownership, transition era, but continuing passenger service into the later 50's. I feel this was a really great time for the rail road, and would be a lot of fun to recreate and maybe release.
