Can't Download

Happy Christmas to everyone.
Can you please help me. Everytime I try to download anything from the DLS I get a message on the bottom of the screen telling me 'Unable to download, the sever appears to be full, please try again later'.
This problem is on Trainz 2009 and 2006.
I can download other things, music, flightsimulation files etc, from other sites without any problems.
I have un-installed 2009 and re-installed it but I still have the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This has been going on since the begining of December. Just be patience. it would get fixed sooner or later.

G'Day Tony, You could always get a FCT (quite low cost) and you will not have any of these problems. All through this Christmas period I have had no problems at all and great speeds too.

Hi Barrie, Thanks for your reply. I bought a new FCT 25/12/10 but I am reluctant to activate it incase the the line remains blocked after I do so.
Maybe by activating the FCT it could solve my problem. What do you think?
I see from your 'G'day' that you are probably based in Australia. My son now lives in Kariong near Gosford NSW. Are you anywhere near there?

The FCT should solve your problems, so activate it and D/L some items. Dont get too many though (as most do) they will still be there tomorrow, there is always another day !!!

Welcome to the forums bythe way.

The free DLS feature gets blocked due to too many people downloding way too much free stuff, and often trips the servers, but the Firt Class One is always OK

Well its a cheap guarantee of being able to D/L, the FCT will give you almost 100% capability, whereas the free DLS is almost 0%

Take your choice, but I would go for the FCT until you hae most of what you want downloaded

I went FCT - and I have no issues. Definitely worth it folks.
