Since having just installed win 7 and using IE8, I can acess the forum, as is obvious, but am unable to access or open any links. The only way it will work is to paste the link adress in the address bar. a Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so how did you resolve it? The MS answer didnt work, as my problem only relates to the links on this forum. Dont say use Firefox. Im looking for a fix, not an alternative . Cheers

No, just tried that after reading your post. I tried to check all settings by 'phoning a friend' and comparing them and we didn't find anything different. Not to say of course that we didnt miss something.
When Win 7 was installed, my grandson took control [Xmas present] and told me I needed IE 9 and in-stalled it, so IE 8 was not used initially but I have had the problem right from the start
The local computer help guy had a look yesterday and we rolled it back to IE 8 but it made no difference. His suggestion was that it was a problem with the Trains site, however that may be because I had to pay for his services and he wasn't able to fix it, althougt this site is the only one that I have a problem with.
