Canot find installed items

After 1 year of happily driving around on other people's routes, I am trying to become creative and use Surveyor. I downloaded some nice items (turntable etc) and they are listed in CM under "installed". None of those buildings are available inside Surveyor under the Add-Objects window. What am I missing? Sorry, but I am right at the start of the big Trainz adventure!

Make sure you have unchecked the 'show favourites' option in case this is the problem - as it often is. I got caught that way at first!

Also make sure that you are looking int he right place for it. A turntable for instance is going to be in the objects tab and not the track tab

Re "show favorites"

What I do not understand is why "show favorites" is the default upon software install for both surveyor assets and routes. This has to be the cause of many frustrations for new users and the source of many postings on this forum.

The other day I had to reinstall TS2010 and I remembered to uncheck show favorites for routes, but forgot about unchecking the show favorites in surveyor settings. Then I panicked when not all the assets showed up in surveyor. Finally, I remembered "oh yeah, there is a checkbox in Surveyor settings"
