Hi Theo,
You are in my prayers. Sometimes it's the simple things
that matter. My father when diagnosed terminal applied
himself to this portion of scripture and added many years
to his life.
Ps:118:17: I shall not die, but live, and declare the works
of the LORD.
He sends His word and heals us. There is always hope.

"for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have everlasting life."

I know how you feel. About the same time i was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Unfortunately it was discovered too late for therapy so am faced with a wait and see prognosis. Prostate cancer is slow to develop so I may be around for a while yet.

I would strongly urge anyone over fifty to get regular testing for prostate cancer,as it is curable if discovered in the early stages.

Cheers.

I am really sorry to hear that both of you, theo_1 and happyj, have cancer. I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy yourselves a lot with trainz.

God Bless every one!

In my prayers

Dear Theo,
You are in my prayers, it is sad news indeed.
My partner passed over with lymphatic cancer in October 2007 so I am well 'acquainted' with it. Also my thoughts are with you and your family.
One in three people are effected by this terrible disease, far too high an amount in anybody's view.
Try to keep positive and enjoy your favourite pastimes as much as possible, whatever they may be.
I still attend a cancer support group near my home in west London, people in remission or having treatment and a really friendly lot they are and I would suggest it would be worth finding out if there is one near you.

God bless and keep you,

Angela

Sorry to here this news.

Good Luck. My thoughts are with you.
Keep positive.

Kind Regards

Anthony

Theo and happyj, it is so difficult to know what to say, except to wish you as much pleasure from the Trainz hobby as you're able to extract!

The Trainz Community will always be here for you, from one end of the world to the other and if there's anything you want to say to us, you go right on ahead!

You will be in my thoughts and prayers, Theo and happyj!

Although I'm fairly new to the Trainz Forums, I thought I would post here and wish you the best.
My mum has just began her chemotherapy following a couple of operations to remove breast cancer tumours and ones from her lymph nodes. :(
Sadly in the modern world, it is something we shall all experience either directly or indirectly.

I wish you all the best.

Rikki.

My mother passed away this June due to Cancer, so I know what your family is going through .... Good Luck and god bless you!!

Ish

I have had 3 people close to me with this disease, 2 terminal, it's true everyone has been touched in some manner by it.

I wish you both the best!

Regards,

Lorin

Sorry to hear the news. Hang on in there and live life to the full. We, and I'm certain, all your loved ones are with you.

I have prostate cancer and have had radiotherapy. At the moment my hormone treatment is successful. Have been chugging along (1/2 bott of red a day and several beers at the chess club...). And, of course, Trainz and the Forum:).

Don't give up hope - we are all with you.

I think cancer affects everyone in one way or another these days - I lost both my mother and my mother-in-law to the dreaded "C" word a few years ago. A colleague at work lost his testicles recently - if he hadn't, then testicular cancer would have claimed him!

Men - be aware - breast cancer is not reserved exclusively for the fair sex! Check your moobs (man-boobs) regularly!

To theo_1, happyj, ess1 and all those Trainzers up against the big "C" - keep your chins up and try to smile! This hobby will help you keep your spirits up and remember, in addition to your friends, you have a whole world-wide community out here rooting for you and praying for you!

Keep in touch with us through the Forum -

Good Days, great - we'd love to hear about them!
Bad Days - who knows, maybe we can cheer you up!

Let's see!

That's Terrible

That's horrible that you have been diagnosed with Cancer. I am very sorry to hear that. You are in all of our prayers.

Take care,
Cameron and all of the Auran Forums

Theo
Really sorry to hear the news and I will keep you in my prayers and hope for a recovery for you. Miracles DO happen.
My father died of lung cancer about 15 years ago and my mother is a 30+ year survivor of cervical cancer. I believe we all know someone close to us that has had a cancer experience and can as such empathize with your condition. Best of luck to you and keep on Trainzin'.
Mike
