Canadian Pacific reveals first of new Hydrogen powered locomotives.

For the past few months since it's announcement, Canadian Pacific has been rebuilding their GMD SD40-2F "barn" units for a ECO project where these locomotives will be powered by hydrogen fuel cells. On January 24, the first locomotive, 1001, was released from the Calgary Alberta shops. Field testing is due to begin soon.

That is so cool! I wonder how they will set up and distribute hydrogen refueling stations. I like the green and blue, the gray? meh. Looks too much like the inversion days where I live.
